Ha Giang • Ban Thang • Quan Ba
Morning
8:00 AM: Meet your guide and begin the journey into the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
Stop at Bac Sum Pass for views across the winding mountain roads.
Continue through Quyet Tien to Ban Thang, a peaceful Bo Y village surrounded by traditional rice fields.
Experience village life through activities that may include making Bánh Dày, learning how local corn wine is produced, harvesting seasonal vegetables, relaxing beside the natural stream and sharing mountain tea with your hosts.
Lunch
Enjoy a home-cooked lunch with a local family in Ban Thang.
Afternoon
Travel to Poje Village in Quan Ba.
Join a traditional indigo-dyeing workshop and learn about the textile traditions of northern Vietnam.
Evening
Check in at a homestay in Nam Dam Village.
Optional Dao herbal bath: 150,000 ₫ per person.
Enjoy dinner featuring traditional local dishes.

Quan Ba • Lung Tam • Truc Son • Ha Giang

Visit Lung Tam Linen Weaving Village and discover how H’Mong artisans spin linen, create beeswax patterns and use natural dyes.
Continue to the Quan Ba Twin Mountains for panoramic views.
Visit Truc Son, a remote Dao village, and walk with your guide to learn about traditional wooden houses, ancient Shan tea trees and everyday rural life.
Depending on the season, you may join a local family in simple farming activities.
Take part in Ha Giang Origin’s community-support programme by delivering school supplies or daily necessities funded through the company’s community fund.

Do I need to know how to ride a motorbike?
No. This journey is covered by car with a local driver, so you never have to ride. If you would prefer to ride part of the route, contact our team and we will arrange it.
How do I get from Hanoi to Ha Giang?
Night sleeper buses run daily from Hanoi and arrive in Ha Giang City early in the morning, before the 8:00 AM start. Tell us your arrival plan and we will confirm the pick-up point.
What should I pack?
Layers. Mornings on the plateau are cool even in summer. Long trousers, closed shoes, a light waterproof, sunscreen and a small day bag. Large luggage can stay at our office.
Is this suitable for children or older travellers?
Yes. The whole route is covered by car, so the pace suits families and travellers who prefer not to ride. Tell us the ages in your group and we will adjust the day plan.
Can you cater for vegetarian or allergy needs?
Yes. Tell us when you book and we pass it to every homestay and restaurant before you arrive. The more notice you give us, the better we can prepare.
